“ This place is really something special! When we first arrived, we were shocked. It seemed like we were in the middle of nowhere with nobody around! Aside from ourselves, only one room was occupied during our stay, and we regularly saw only 2-3 people of the staff. We felt detached from society, and "The Shining" movie surfaced in my head =) But after a wonderful hike the next day we got attuned to the place and the discomfort disappeared. We could not find Wifi in the hotel, and the other guests told us there was no Wifi. Luckily we had local SIMs, so we used mobile internet (fast and reliable enough). If you don't have local SIMs, better ask the hotel directly about Wifi (in advance). The furniture in our room was made of dark wood including the ceiling, so it was always somewhat dark. Overall, the style was more strict than cozy. The shower did not work in our room, but it was quickly fixed after we reported that. Also we had floor scales and safe not working, although I'm sure they'd be easily fixed if we reported. There was a TV set, and the first day I saw some local TV on it, but later I only got "no signal" (maybe I messed the settings up, or I saw a mirage the first day). The hotel has a wonderful restaraunt with especially delicious meat meals. However, it only works on specific hours for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (3 hours each). The kitchen did not work for dinner on the last day of our stay, and we were advised to go to the other restaraunt. The staff was very friendly and helpful! And it is very important, because you won't see many people around =) They quickly fixed our shower, and gave us a spare blanket. The staff did not speak English well, so we eventually communicated mostly in local language. I suspect the place looks more lively during peak season (we stayed in May). This was an unusual experience for us and we definitely enjoyed it! ”

“ This place is a hidden gem in the middle of the woods.Beautiful surroundings and trails for people to hike around.Thick woods, beautiful mountain views. The staff is amazing and friendly and very helpful.Even helped me heat food for one of my picky kids. They understand limited english, but could still manage to communicate very well. I couldn't catch there names but am very thankful for their hospitality. The food at the restaurent is delicious and huge portions, dinner was the best. The meat was tasty and juicy. I was sad to checkout but had to travel further. I would definitely consider coming back and staying longer.we stayed as family for 2 nights and 3 days. ”
